Karen, Office Manager

Karen is one of our greatest resources for our patients at Southwest Dental Care. She brings over two decades of experience to us, many of those years spent right here at our practice. Her favorite part of her career is building relationships with patients and helping create a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who visits. After attending Pulaski Technical College Dental Assisting program, Karen started her career assisting at a pediatric dental office before moving into an office management position.
Karen’s hometown is Little Rock, where she lives with her husband. She is the proud mom of four daughters and “Nini” to a grandson who has her entire heart. When she isn’t at the office, she enjoys running her small handmade soap and body care business, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and traveling.
Gladys, Insurance Coordinator

Gladys has been helping patients maximize their dental insurance benefits for over eight years now, and she’s truly excellent at her job! She attended Eastern College of Health Vocations and, in addition to dental insurance verification, she also helps with treatment planning and optimizing the office schedule. She focuses on creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients.
Originally from Houston, Gladys grew up in a large and close-knit family. Her family consists of her husband and their four children. Together, they enjoy having movie nights, and when it’s just her, she likes to spend her time reading.
Maytianna, Front Desk

For Maytianna, the best part about her career is helping patients get the dental work they need as soon as possible. She loves building relationships with patients to make it easier for them to overcome any anxiety they may feel about the dental office. Maytianna attended Accelerated Academy, where she earned her nitrous oxide and CPR certifications, and became a registered dental assistant.
Maytianna comes from a close-knit family of five, where she’s the middle of three children. Her hometown is Wrightsville in Little Rock, where she enjoys spending her time planning church events, being a praise dance teacher, and singing in choirs. She’s also starting to get into making ribbon flowers!
Tiffany, Front Desk

Tiffany enjoys getting to know her patients and forming strong relationships with them so they feel comfortable coming to the practice. She also enjoys learning new things every day and being able to work alongside such a wonderful team of coworkers. Tiffany has been working in the dental field since 2021 and has years of hands-on experience.
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Tiffany moved to Arkansas in 2023 with her two boys. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, making tumblers, t-shirts, and playing with her kids at the park. She also enjoys doing anything outdoors, like swimming with her boys, as well as hanging out with friends.
Liz, Front Desk

Liz has over two decades of experience in the dental field. The best part of her job is meeting new people every day and being a part of creating healthy smiles. Liz attended Tarrant County College, where she became a registered dental assistant.
Liz is originally from Los Angeles and is a proud first-generation American. Her mother migrated from Mexico and father came from Cuba in the late 1960s, and both of their parents are from Spain. Liz has a younger brother as well. In her free time, you can find her glamping—she has a tiny house at Lake Nimrod where she likes to spend most of her weekends. An interesting fact about Liz is that she taught faith-based classes at a women’s prison in Pine Bluff until they closed the location.
Tori, Lead Dental Assistant

Tori brings over a decade of experience to our team. She enjoys providing hands-on patient care and team leadership, and she looks forward to making genuine connections with her patients. Her favorite part of her job is being a reassuring presence to help nervous patients feel calm and cared for during their visits, whether that’s holding a hand during a difficult moment or explaining a procedure and answering questions. Tori attended Eastern College of Health Vocations – Little Rock, where she earned her permits in dental X-rays, coronal polishing, and administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide, as well as her RDA certification.
Tori is originally from Lonoke and comes from a supportive and loving family. She and her husband, Ryan, have a wonderful little boy together. They enjoy spending time outdoors, crafting, swimming, and having family movie nights! An interesting fact about Tori is that she’s the designated handyman, plumber, maintenance person, and mechanic of the office because she’s pretty good at solving problems!
